Nua Healthcare Services in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, Ireland, is seeking compassionate Assistant Support Workers to join our team to provide person-centred care to residents using our services.

We offer comprehensive training, development opportunities, and a supportive environment. The role requires flexibility across a 24/7 roster and a driving licence, or progress toward obtaining one.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications are required; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Previous experience in a support role is desirable but not essential.
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for helping others is important.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families and professionals.
• A full driving licence is required, or candidates must be actively working towards obtaining one.
• Flexibility and reliability to work across a range of shifts.

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals with planning and managing daily activities and routines.
• Support individuals while accessing and participating in their local community.
• Assist individuals with education, skills development, and achieving personal goals.
• Help individuals develop independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments).
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, standards and codes of practice.
• Work flexible shift patterns across a 24-hour, 7-day service.
