Job summary

Enable Ireland, as an equal opportunities employer, invites applications for the role of Support Worker in Dublin South East (CHO6). The post offers permanent contracts with both full-time and part-time hours up to 39 per week.

Salary scales range €35,070–€42,440 pro rata per annum, with increases in 2026 under the WRC agreement. Role involves assisting with daily living, personal care, mobility, and enabling participation in day services, in the community and online.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with disabilities.
• Experience providing personal care to adults.
• Experience working in community/non-centred based settings.
• Basic IT skills.
• Good knowledge and experience of routine vehicle maintenance.
• Experience of positioning and clamping wheelchairs and their occupants in vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Owner in all aspects of daily living, including personal care and mobility.
• Support access and participation in activities provided by day services, in the community and online/virtually.
• Develop options for training, employment and greater inclusion in the local community.
