Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting Multi-Task Attendants for agency opportunities with a public sector healthcare client in Midleton, Cork. The role involves assisting nursing staff and supporting patient care across daily living activities, mobility and catering tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Garda Vetting, and up-to-date training. Driving licence is desirable and weekly payroll is offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare, disability or caring environment.
• Garda Vetting.
• Full driving licence desirable.
• Satisfactory employment references.
• Up-to-date mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with patient care and activities of daily living.
• Support patients with mobility, personal care, toileting and mealtimes.
• Assist with transporting patients between wards and departments.
• Carry out cleaning and infection prevention duties to a high standard.
• Support catering duties, including meal preparation, service and feeding assistance.
• Assist with laundry, waste management and maintaining ward areas.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting who are comfortable working across patient care, catering and environmental support duties.

The Role

• Up-to-date mandatory training.
