Job summary

St Christopher Services in Longford is seeking relief/locum staff to support people with intellectual disabilities. The role requires a minimum FETAC Level 5 in Social Care or related discipline, and a full clean driving licence.

You will work across all St Christopher's Service locations in County Longford to provide person-centred care and promote independence. Prior experience with behaviours of concern is desirable, and a monthly minimum hours target applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Social Care/Special Needs/Healthcare or related discipline.
• Experience working with people with Intellectual Disabilities and behaviours of concern.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of role.

Please note: Relief/Locum staff must be available to work across all St. Christopher's Services locations throughout County Longford, in line with service needs. A minimum number of hours must be worked each month to remain active on the relief panel.

The successful candidate will maintain the highest attainable standards of person-centred care and support, to promote optimum independence and to enhance the quality of life of the Service User in all aspects of daily living.
