Job summary

Dara Community Living in Ireland is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide one-to-one support to a young lady who lives in her own home in the Celbridge area. This role focuses on helping her maintain independence, achieve personal goals, and actively participate in her community in line with the New Directions Programme.

Hours are approximately 6 hours per week, with flexible, part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

  • Caring, patient, and person-centred approach.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Experience supporting people with Autism and/or intellectual disabilities is desirable.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage.
  • Relevant qualification in Social Care, Healthcare Support, or a related field is desirable.

  • Assisting with community participation, social outings, and recreational activities

One-to-One Support for a Young Lady
