Bon Secours Health System is inviting applications for a Support Services Assistant on a full-time, specified-purpose contract (35 hours per week). The role handles National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF) activities across its hospitals and includes processing referrals, scheduling clinics, and coordinating care for outpatients and inpatients in Tralee, with liaison across nursing and radiology.

• Liaising with other Departments e.g., nursing, radiology as required.
• Other duties as may be required to support the service.

Support Services Assistant Full time Specified purpose, 35h/week Applications are invited for the above post; Support Services Assistant.

The Support Services Assistant will work on activities relating to National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF) work.

Activities will include.

• Processing referrals to central database to log all referrals received, maintain database to reflect current status of each referral
• Acting as direct point of contact with patients, scheduling clinics/lists
• Coordinating care for NTPF outpatients
• Coordinating schedule of care for NTPF day/inpatients, scheduling tests were instructed by relevant consultant
• Liaising with other Departments e.g. nursing, radiology as required
• Other duties as may be required to support the service
