Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is assisting a busy community pharmacy in Tullamore, Co. Offaly to recruit a Support Pharmacist for a full-time, permanent role. The position offers flexibility for 3 to 5 days per week, with every second Saturday as part of the schedule, and no Sundays.

You will provide safe dispensing, ensure the delivery of medicines, engage with customers to foster loyalty, manage stock, and lead the dispensary team. PSI registration is required, with salary negotiation possible.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) is required.
• Pharmacy experience with dispensing systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service in line with pharmacy guidelines.
• Ensure safe delivery of medicines to customers.

What you need to know:

This is a full-time, permanent position (with flexibility for 3, 4, or 5 days per week), including every second Saturday (essential). There are no Sundays, bank holidays, or late nights, as the pharmacy closes at 6pm. The role is due to start as soon as possible, though there is flexibility for the right candidate. You will be joining a highly supportive team, with MPS as the dispensing system in use.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service to all customers in accordance with the pharmacy guidelines.
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers.
• Engage actively with customers to encourage customer loyalty and confidence.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels in the pharmacy ensuring the correct storage and monitoring of dated products.
• Managing the dispensary and staff
• Any other duties as required
