Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is seeking a Support Pharmacist for an independent pharmacy in Co. Laois. The role is permanent and part-time (2–3 days per week) with alternate Saturdays. No Sundays or late nights. Join a dynamic team committed to delivering patient care and supporting the dispensary with PSI guidelines.

The successful candidate will be registered with the Pharmacy Society of Ireland, with newly qualified pharmacists welcome. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service in line with PSI guidelines and best practice.
• Ensure the safe supply of medicines while offering professional advice and counselling to patients.
• Deliver excellent customer care and build strong relationships with patients.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to support the day-to-day running of the dispensary.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant pharmacy legislation and procedures.
• Carry out any other duties as required.

for an independent pharmacy in Co. Laois, conveniently located 24 km from Portlaoise and just 7 km from Athy, Co. Kildare.

What you need to know:

This is a permanent, part-time position working 2–3 days per week, including alternate Saturdays. No Sundays, Bank Holidays or late nights required. You'll be joining a dynamic, supportive team committed to delivering excellent patient care, using the MPS dispensing system. An immediate start is available, but we're happy to wait for the right candidate.
