Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is seeking a Support Pharmacist for a busy independent community pharmacy in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. This full-time, permanent role offers a safe, supportive environment with two dispensing robots and full training provided.

You will own dispensing quality and patient care, manage stock, and work with a friendly team to deliver excellent service while adhering to PSI standards. The salary is negotiable to attract the right candidate.

Clarity is recruiting a Support Pharmacist for a busy, independent community pharmacy in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.

What you need to know:

This full-time, permanent role comes with no late nights past 7pm, no Sundays and no Bank Holidays, with Saturdays generally worked on an alternating basis. The pharmacy is well staffed, with 2–3 pharmacists typically on site each day, alongside a genuinely supportive team of pharmacists and technicians. Two dispensing robots are already in operation, helping to streamline the dispensing process and ease day-to-day workload, with full training provided on the systems in place.

An attractive, negotiable salary is on offer, with the pharmacy keen to find the right rate for the right person.

What you'll be doing:

• Take ownership of a safe, efficient dispensing service, working with genuine autonomy to ensure the best outcomes for every customer
• Oversee the safe and effective delivery of medicines, using your professional judgement to manage the process from start to finish
• Build strong relationships with customers, engaging proactively to foster loyalty and confidence in the pharmacy
• Independently manage stock levels, ensuring correct storage, rotation and monitoring of dated products
• Support the day-to-day running of the dispensary alongside the wider team, with real input into how things operate
• Any other duties as required, with scope to shape the role around your own strengths and interests
