Job summary

Clarity Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Support Pharmacist in Co. Limerick. This is a full-time, 12-month maternity leave cover with an immediate start.

Hours are Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays preferred (approximately 1 in 3, negotiable); there are no late nights or Sundays. You’ll join a well-staffed team including a superintendent pharmacist, a supervising pharmacist, 3 pharmacy technicians and 3–4 front‑of‑shop staff.

Qualifications

• PSI registration to practice as a pharmacist in Ireland.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service in line with pharmacy guidelines.
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of medicines.
• Engage with customers to build loyalty and confidence.
• Maintain stock levels and proper storage of dated products.
• Undertake other duties as required.

What you need to know:

You’ll join a well-staffed, supportive team made up of a superintendent pharmacist, a supervising pharmacist, 3 pharmacy technicians and 3 to 4 front-of-shop staff, and you’ll be working with the MPS dispensing system.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing servicein accordance with the pharmacy guidelines
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of medicines
• Engage actively with customers to encourage customer loyalty and confidence
• Maintain appropriate stock levels in the Pharmacy ensuring the correct storage and monitoring of dated products
• Any other duties as required
