Job summary

QR Select is looking for a Support Pharmacist to join a full-time, permanent role near Tralee. The position involves working 4-5 days per week from 9am to 6pm, including every 2nd Saturday.

You will collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain high standards of patient care. Key requirements include a BSc (Pharm) or MPharm and PSI registration, with strong communication, leadership, and people management skills.

Qualifications

• A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm degree.
• Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, patients, suppliers, and the wider community.
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure the smooth daily operation of the pharmacy.
• Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure availability of medications.
• Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with SOPs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, addressing health and safety concerns with the pharmacy manager.
• Delivering high standards of care and service to patients while on duty.
• Participating in ongoing training and development programs provided by the pharmacy.
• Performing other day-to-day duties to support the pharmacy team.
