Job summary

Uniphar's Hickeys Dundalk store is seeking a Support Pharmacist to manage the dispensary, stock, and compliance. This 38-hour permanent role offers the chance to lead day-to-day operations in a busy community pharmacy.

You must hold a PSI registration and a Pharmacy degree, with the ability to multitask under pressure and drive business while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day running of the dispensary.
• Take final responsibility for stock management including purchasing, ordering, merchandising and stocktaking.
• Ensure adherence to controlled drugs regulations.
• Maintain Pharmacy Presentation Standards.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Support Pharmacist to join the team in our Hickeys Dundalk store.

This is a 38-hour permanent position.

The team currently comprises a Store Manager, 1 Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief Pharmacist and 2 Technicians.

This store has manageable items and services.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the day to day running of the dispensary
• Take final responsibility within the store for Stock Management specifically relating to, purchasing, ordering, stock management, merchandising, date checking and stocktaking
• Take final responsibility for ensuring controlled drugs regulations are strictly adhered to
• Take final responsibility for Pharmacy Presentation Standards

Requirements:

• Must have PSI registration and hold a degree in Pharmacy
• Have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Must be capable of working on own initiative
• Drive business within the dispensary and store
• Ability to communicate and get along with a variety of different personalities
• Proactively drive excellence in customer service throughout the store at all times
