Job summary

Hickeys Pharmacy in Ballyphehane, Cork, is seeking a Support Pharmacist for a 29-hour permanent role. The store operates 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mon–Fri and 9 a.m.

to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, with Sunday closures. The team includes Supervising Pharmacist, Relief Pharmacist, Technicians, and Healthcare Advisors. Responsibilities include day-to-day dispensary management, stock control, and strict adherence to controlled drugs regulations, while delivering high standards in pharmacy presentation and customer

Qualifications

• Must have PSI registration and hold a degree in Pharmacy.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Capable of working on own initiative.
• Drive business within the dispensary and store.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day running of the dispensary.
• Take final responsibility for stock management, including purchasing, ordering, stock control, merchandising, date checking and stocktaking.
• Take final responsibility for ensuring controlled drugs regulations are strictly adhered to.
• Take final responsibility for Pharmacy Presentation Standards.
