Job summary

Hickeys Pharmacy in Ballyphehane, Cork is hiring a Support Pharmacist for a 29-hour-per-week, permanent position. The store opens 9am–7pm Mon–Fri and 9am–6pm Sat, closed Sun. You will join a small team dedicated to excellent patient care and efficient dispensary operations.

Applicants must have PSI registration and a Pharmacy degree. The role focuses on day-to-day dispensary management, stock control, regulatory compliance, and delivering outstanding customer service within the store.

• Must have PSI registration and hold a degree in Pharmacy.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Must be capable of working on own initiative.
• Drive business within the dispensary and store.
• Ability to communicate and get along with a variety of different personalities.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day running of the dispensary.
• Take final responsibility for Stock Management including purchasing, ordering, stock management, merchandising, date checking and stocktaking.
• Take final responsibility for ensuring controlled drugs regulations are strictly adhered to.
• Take final responsibility for Pharmacy Presentation Standards.

Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Support Pharmacist to join the team in our Hickeys Pharmacy in Ballyphehane, Cork. This is a 29 hour permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sunday. The team currently comprises a 1 Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief Pharmacist, 2 Technicians and 3 Healthcare Advisors. This store has manageable items and services.
