Hickeys Ballincollig Pharmacy in Cork is seeking a Supervising Pharmacist for a 36-hour Specified Purpose position. The role supports the store manager, ensures compliance with the Pharmacy Act 2007, and delivers high-quality patient care.

You will lead a small team, oversee stock control, and participate in health promotion activities while adhering to PSI guidelines. Benefits include vaccination training funding, pension contributions, CPD hours, and Sunday premiums.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years as a Supervising Pharmacist is highly advantageous.
• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Highly organized with ability to work on multiple tasks accurately in a busy environment.
• The ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team is essential.

Aufgaben

• Strictly observe statutory regulations relating to the supply of medical products as per the Pharmacy Act 2007.
• Maintain the community pharmacy to a proper professional standard.
• Participate in Health Promotion programs and the implementation of Pharmaceutical Care.
• Engage in Continuing Education Programs to enhance CPD.
• Implement policies and procedures introduced by Allcare Pharmacy and SOPs.
• Ensure stock control and proper receipt/documentation of all goods and services in the dispensary.
• Be responsible for stock security and safety of staff and customers with the pharmacy Manager.
• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and confidentiality standards.
• Support store retail standards including category management, merchandising and stock control.
• Stay up to date with legislation and PSI Practice guidance.
