Job Purpose:
The Supply Planner will play a key role in ensuring a balanced, efficient, and responsive supply chain across Hanley Energy’s production and distribution network. This position is responsible for demand analysis, material planning, production planning, and cross functional alignment to ensure product availability aligns with customer requirements and operational efficiency targets.
Job Location
This role is based in Dundalk with requirement to travel 3 days to Kingscourt a week for a year then to be based in Dundalk after that.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and S&OP plan.
- Create production schedule and component requirement schedule weekly and monthly.
- Monitor customer demand and production schedule and adjust as per requirement.
Supply Chain Execution
- Manage and optimize material replenishment processes to meet production and project timelines.
- Proactively identify potential component shortages and intimate material planners.
- Monitor production for adherence to Plan and component shortages on production floor.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with S&OP, Material Planners, Production & warehouse teams to ensure synchronized planning and on-time delivery.
- Drive weekly alignment meetings and issue weekly manufacturing schedule.
System & Reporting:
- Control MRP process and master data in SAP. Run timely MRP and create requisition for material planners.
- Create and control Bill of Material in SAP by working closely with Design and production.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in supply planning, materials management, or production planning—preferably in a manufacturing or energy solutions environment.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in a dynamic production environment.
- Preferred Skills:Experience in SAP highly desired.
