Job summary

Morgan McKinley is recruiting on behalf of an FMCG organisation for a Supply Chain Manager to join on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is ideal for someone available immediately and eager to impact a fast-paced supply chain environment, overseeing end-to-end operations across Ireland and international markets.

You will lead demand planning, inventory, logistics and supplier relationships, partnering with commercial, finance and operations to deliver service excellence and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of end-to-end supply chain with focus on product availability and customer service.
• Manage demand planning, forecasting and inventory to balance stock and working capital.
• Oversee purchasing activities and relations with domestic and international suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times and service levels for continuity of supply.
• Coordinate warehousing, transport and third-party logistics providers.

Morgan McKinley is recruiting on behalf of an FMCG organisation for a Supply Chain Manager to join the business on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This opportunity would suit someone who is available immediately or at short notice and is looking to make an impact in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in end-to-end supply chain management, planning, procurement and logistics to take ownership of a busy operation supporting customers across Ireland and international markets.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead the day-to-day management of the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring excellent product availability and customer service.
• Manage demand planning, forecasting and inventory to balance stock availability with working capital.
• Oversee purchasing activities and build strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times and service levels to ensure continuity of supply.
• Coordinate warehousing, transport and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient product movement.
• Work closely with commercial, finance and operations teams to support business objectives and sales demand.
• Analyse supply chain performance and report on key KPIs including inventory, service levels and supplier performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and systems development across the supply chain function.
• Lead and develop the supply chain team, fostering collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement.

Key requirements:

• Previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Senior Supply Chain Planner, Supply Chain Lead or Operations Manager within FMCG, food or consumer goods.
• Strong experience across supply chain planning, procurement, inventory management and logistics.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and international supply networks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
