Job summary

CPL in Ireland is seeking a Director of Supply Chain for Europe to lead end-to-end pharmaceutical operations across European markets, from external manufacturing through to distribution and patients. You will manage strategic relationships with CMOs, logistics providers, warehousing partners and distributors, and act as a key supply chain partner to European leadership.

This senior role requires extensive experience with GMP/GDP, budgets and ERP systems, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' pharmaceutical supply chain experience.
• Experience leading European supply chains across multiple markets.
• Proven track record with CMOs, logistics providers and distributors.
• Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences or related scientific field preferred.
• Strong GMP and GDP knowledge.
• Experience managing budgets and supply chain finances.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
• Fluent English language required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end European supply chain operations, ensuring continuity of supply and optimal inventory levels.
• Manage relationships with CMOs, warehouses, logistics and distribution partners.
• Oversee supply planning, aligning commercial forecasts, manufacturing and inventory strategies.
• Monitor supplier/logistics performance against quality, service, delivery and cost objectives.
• Lead resolution of critical supply issues and risks.

• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Legal and Finance.
• Support product launches, lifecycle management and serialization activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain network.

We're seeking a senior pharmaceutical Supply Chain leader to lead end-to-end supply chain operations across European markets - from external manufacturing through to distribution and patients. You'll manage strategic relationships with CMOs, logistics providers, warehousing partners and distributors, and act as key supply chain partner to General Managers and leadership teams across Europe.

Hybrid work, with 1 day in the office in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end European supply chain operations, ensuring continuity of supply and optimal inventory levels
• Manage relationships with CMOs, warehouses, logistics and distribution partners

• Solid understanding of GMP and GDP requirements
• Experience managing budgets and supply-chain financial activities
• Knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP systems
• Fluent English

Preferred:

Rare Diseases, Specialty Pharma, Biotechnology or Oncology experience; outsourced manufacturing/virtual pharma exposure; serialization and launch experience; additional European languages.
