Responsibilities

• Hold full professional and legal responsibility for the safe, efficient running of the pharmacy, with autonomy to lead operations.
• Oversee the safe and effective delivery of medicines, using clinical judgement to guide dispensing.
• Build strong relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and confidence.
• Lead stock management, ensuring correct storage, rotation and monitoring of dated products.
• Manage and support the dispensary team with day-to-day operations and decision-making.
• Ensure full compliance with PSI regulations and pharmacy legislation at all times.

Clarity is recruiting a Supervising Pharmacist for a busy, independent community pharmacy in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.
What you need to know:
This full-time, permanent role comes with no late nights past 7pm, no Sundays and no Bank Holidays, with Saturdays generally worked on an alternating basis. The pharmacy is well staffed, with 2–3 pharmacists typically on site each day, alongside a genuinely supportive team of pharmacists and technicians. Two dispensing robots are already in operation, helping to streamline the dispensing process and ease day-to-day workload, with full training provided on the systems in place.
An attractive, negotiable salary is on offer, with the pharmacy keen to find the right rate for the right person.
What you'll be doing:
