Job summary

Clarity Locums in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, is seeking a Supervising Pharmacist for a busy, well-established pharmacy. This is a permanent role, 4–5 days per week, including 2 Saturdays in 4 (9:30 AM–1:30 PM). There are no Sundays, bank holidays, or late evenings.

You will lead the professional and operational running of the pharmacy, manage staff, set monthly goals, organise health promos, and drive business while ensuring compliance with PSIs guidelines and company policy.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• At least 3 years post-registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the professional, clinical, ethical and financial running of the pharmacy in line with company and industry regulations.
• Day to day management of the pharmacy and its team.
• Set down monthly goals for the team members and incentives to motivate them.
• Create and organise health promo events and develop strategies to drive business.
• Control the training and development of your staff, attracting, selecting and recruiting high calibre individuals.
• Ensure store standards and company policies are being met (With the area manager review monthly KPI's, take corrective action and approve agreed quarterly bonuses. Ensure store stay within budget (staff, stock, margin, overheads)).
• Optimizing and overseeing operations to ensure efficiencies of the store (paperwork, company returns, store rooms, staff area cleanliness etc)

Clarity Locums is recruiting a Supervising Pharmacist for a thriving pharmacy in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.

What you need to know:

This is a permanent position requiring 4–5 days a week, including 2 in every 4 Saturdays (9:30 AM–1:30 PM). There are no Sundays, Bank Holidays, or late evenings required. You'll be working alongside an excellent support team, helping to manage a steady flow of customers in a busy, well-established pharmacy. The pharmacy operates using the MPS dispensing system, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day workflow.
