Job summary

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation seeking a Study Start-Up Associate for Ireland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, and Spain. The role focuses on independent negotiation and execution of clinical trial agreements and budgets, collaborating with sites and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient start-up.

You will contribute to contract management activities, maintain records, and support continuous improvement of templates and processes, while

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and one of the following languages: French, German, or Italian.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in site contracting, contracts administration, or similar roles in CRO, pharma, or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate site contracts and budgets with investigator sites within defined parameters.
• Review and adapt contract language to sponsor requirements, local laws, and site feedback.
• Manage a portfolio of contracts, monitor cycle times, and address barriers to execution.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and project teams to resolve contractual questions.
• Maintain accurate records of negotiations, approvals, and executed agreements in systems.
• Support continuous improvement of templates and processes, and mentor junior colleagues.
