Job summary

ILSC Education Group is expanding its Dublin campus and seeks a Student Advisor to provide frontline support to international students, guide them through academic programs, and assist with documentation and visa-related needs.

This full-time role (40 hours per week) operates Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., based at the Dublin campus with no remote option. The Student Services Manager oversees the team and ensures a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an international school/college.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent technical skills (database, Microsoft 365).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Second language a plus (Spanish/Portuguese).

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support and guidance to international students throughout their study journey.
  • Support students on academic programs, timetables, progression options, and general course enquiries.
  • Assist students with required documentation for immigration registration and Irish bank account setup.
  • Assist students with cultural adjustment and integration into life in Ireland.
  • Respond to student enquiries via email, phone, and in person in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate student records while ensuring compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the academic team to ensure a positive student experience.
  • Support student welfare by identifying issues early and referring students to appropriate services when needed.
  • Assist with student orientation, events, and on-campus activities.
  • Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive campus environment.
  • Support operations manager, system, and processes
  • Provide accurate and timely information to students via phone, email, and in person
  • Respond to student questions and concerns, resolving issues where possible or referring students to the correct team.
  • Assist the Student Services Manager and Academic team with assigned administrative and operational tasks
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as assigned to ensure ongoing professional development and effective communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Remuneration: € 33500 per annum

Description:

The Student Advisor role is responsible for a variety of functions, including student advising and operational support. This is afull-time position (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, with working hours between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

*The position is based at the Dublin campus and does not offer a work-from-home option.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:

  • A passion for education and sensitivity to the cultural and language issues facing our overseas students
