Job summary

NED College, established in 2010, is a leading English language education provider with campuses in Dublin and Limerick. The English Language Teacher position at the Limerick Campus is full-time and involves planning and delivering engaging lessons for adults, while maintaining an English-only environment and fostering a respectful classroom culture.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and recognised TEFL/CELTA certification, plus visa eligibility to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons for adults.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, demonstrating cultural sensitivity.
  • Be punctual, professional, well-presented, and well-prepared at all times.
  • Act as a first point of contact for students with queries regarding their classes and progress.
  • Maintain a strict English-only environment in the classroom.
  • Prepare students for relevant external examinations.
  • Conduct and mark weekly progress tests, recording results.
  • Enforce the school's anti-tardiness policy.
  • Work closely with the Academic Director and Assistant to ensure consistently high-quality lessons and guidance.

What You Will Do:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons for adults.

Benefits:
  • Initial pay starting at €16/hour. The starting salary for this position will be the beginning of the pay band.
  • Pay: €16.00-€18.75 per hour.
  • Work Location: In person.
