Qualifications

• Experience across ERP, finance transformation, customer platforms, utilities, cyber, data or AI or large-scale operational change is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Transformation / Portfolio Lead to support a significant programme of change across technology, operations and business transformation.

This is a senior, high-visibility role with oversight across a number of major programmes running in parallel, including ERP and finance transformation, HR systems, customer and billing platforms, smart metering, cyber security, data, AI and wider operational change.

The role will focus on providing a clear portfolio view across the transformation agenda, ensuring programmes remain aligned from a risk, budget, timeline and governance perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight across a portfolio of complex transformation programmes.
• Track programme risks, budgets, timelines, dependencies and overall delivery health.
• Work closely with individual Programme Leads and senior stakeholders across the business.
• Identify cross-programme dependencies, risks and issues and ensure these are escalated appropriately.
• Support executive-level governance, reporting and monthly portfolio updates.
• Provide clear visibility of progress, challenges and priorities across the transformation portfolio.
• Help ensure programmes remain aligned to wider business and technology objectives.

Experience Required

• Strong experience delivering or overseeing large-scale business and technology transformation.
• Background in programme, portfolio or transformation leadership.
• Strong governance, risk, budget and stakeholder management experience.
• Comfortable operating with senior executives while also working closely with delivery teams.
• Experience across areas such as ERP, finance transformation, customer platforms, utilities, cyber, data, AI or large-scale operational change would be highly beneficial.
• Energy or utilities experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

This role would suit a senior transformation professional who is comfortable operating across multiple programmes, joining the dots between delivery teams and providing senior leadership with a clear view of progress, risk and priorities.
