Job summary

Dublin Zoo is seeking an experienced Store and Warehousing Manager to oversee stores, procurement and supplier relations. The role focuses on efficient supply chain management, inventory levels, and compliance across the organisation.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, implement effective storage systems, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with department heads and external partners to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing budgets, stores operations and inventory management.
• Experience in procurement management and supplier relationship management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other relevant software applications.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the stores operation including receipt, storage and distribution of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
• Ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations for storage of goods.
• Develop and implement effective storage systems and procedures; monitor stock levels and liaise with department heads.
• Process invoicing for stores and procurement; liaise with Supplier and Animal Registrar for delivery of animals and samples as needed.
