Verizon is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist in a hybrid role based in Ireland, with responsibilities spanning from spend analysis to contract management. You willdevelop and execute sourcing strategies across enterprise relationships to secure the best total value while mitigating risk.

You will lead cross-functional teams, negotiate terms with suppliers at senior levels, and manage supplier performance as part of a world-class supply chain practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant experience demonstrated in Strategic Sourcing.
• Knowledge of contracting language and terms.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using enterprise relationships to achieve best total value.
• Manage seven steps of the sourcing process: Spend analysis, Market Research, Supplier Due Diligence, Sourcing Strategy, RFX Management, Bid Analysis, and Contract Management.
• Create sourcing strategies that deliver materials/services at the right price, time, and quality; mitigate risk.
• Lead cross-functional teams and negotiate contracts with Senior Management; coordinate with Legal and Contract Management.
• Execute supplier relationship management and supplier performance oversight.
