Job summary

Verizon Ireland is seeking a Senior Category Sourcing Manager to lead the IT category within the Sourcing Department in a hybrid role. You will guide internal stakeholders through the end-to-end procurement process, identify suppliers, review requirements, negotiate terms, and monitor performance to drive cost savings.

You’ll manage cross-functional teams, collaborate with Legal, Tax, and Contract Managers, and leverage market analyses to secure best-value partnerships while upholding compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant Strategic Sourcing experience.
• Category Sourcing Management and/or Purchasing experience.
• Right to work in Ireland; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Plan sourcing strategies to support business needs.
• Create, update, and present the Category Strategy.
• Analyze markets to identify potential suppliers and manage partnerships.
• Negotiate commercial terms for agreements and renewals.
• Lead cross-functional teams to document requirements and reach consensus.
• Collaborate with Legal, Contract Manager, Tax, and other policy experts.
• Ensure suppliers are compliant with contract terms and update briefings.
