Job summary

Sogeti Ireland is seeking a Solution Architect to define and govern solution architecture across business, application, data, and technology domains. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, the role ensures solutions align with organisational objectives, architecture standards, and strategic roadmaps.

You'll lead current-state assessments, design target-state architectures, produce ADRs, and drive architecture governance to support delivery and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, governance processes, and solution design best practices.
• Experience producing architecture artefacts, including target-state designs, impact assessments, ADRs, and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead current-state assessments across business processes, applications, data, and technology landscapes, identifying opportunities, risks, and dependencies.
• Define the target-state architecture and architecture vision, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, governance frameworks, and business strategy.
• Design and maintain architecture artefacts, including capability maps, systems inventories, integration models, and architecture roadmaps.
• Evaluate solution options and provide architectural guidance, balancing business requirements, technical feasibility, risk, cost, and strategic objectives.
• Drive architecture governance through ADRs, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and participation in review and approval boards.
• Develop transition architectures and implementation roadmaps, collaborating with business, technology, project, and vendor teams.
