Job summary

KCC Group in Dublin seeks a Service Estimator to prepare accurate quotations for service, maintenance, small works and repairs across the Service Division. You will work with engineers, sales and operations to optimise margins and customer satisfaction.

Key duties include preparing detailed quotations, reviewing site surveys, obtaining supplier prices, calculating costs and tracking outcomes in the CRM. Strong Excel and service-management software experience is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience in estimating or technical service administration.
Experience within one or more of: Automatic doors, Building services, Fire and security, Hospitality systems, Facilities management, Construction or engineering services.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to interpret technical reports and drawings.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Experience using service management software.
Knowledge of hospitality locking systems.
Knowledge of automatic door standards and legislation.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed quotations for service repairs, PPM, small works, upgrades and automatic door repairs.
Review engineer reports and site surveys to determine scope of works.
Obtain competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
Calculate labour and material costs accurately.
Ensure quotations achieve agreed gross margins and are issued within response times.
Liaise with customers to clarify technical requirements where required.
Maintain records in CRM/service management system.
Identify opportunities for additional sales and service contracts.
Assist with tender submissions where appropriate.
Monitor supplier pricing and propose alternatives.
