Job summary

Veolia in Kilkenny/Dublin is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to lead electrical cost estimation for Design & Build bids and support bids from inception to tender submission. You will transition awarded projects to the Contracts team and provide ongoing commercial support during delivery, ensuring value delivery across Veolia’s Water, Waste & Energy units.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in construction/electrical disciplines.
• 5+ years' experience estimating and managing electrical projects.
• Experience with MCC panels, instrumentation, SCADA and building services.
• Knowledge of contract law and infrastructure contracts.
• Excellent negotiation and communication with subcontractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical cost estimation for Design & Build bids across multiple sectors.
• Develop BOQs, schedules of rates and commercial assessments.
• Negotiate with electrical subcontractors and secure quotes.
• Prepare comprehensive commercial documentation and risk assessments.
• Support proposals team on quantity surveying matters and bid strategy.
• Assist handover to Contracts team with clear commercial baseline.
