Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group seeks a Sales Director for a growing food manufacturing business in County Monaghan, Ireland. The role leads sales strategy, drives revenue and margins, and builds key customer relationships across retail, foodservice, wholesale, B2B and export.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead KAM and NPD, coordinating with operations, supply chain and finance to deliver sustainable commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Significant senior sales or commercial leadership experience within food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Track record of delivering profitable growth and managing key customer accounts.
• Strong commercial, financial and negotiation skills including pricing, forecasting and margin management.
• Experience leading and developing sales teams.
• Knowledge of retail, foodservice, wholesale or export markets.
• Understanding of food manufacturing, supply chains and customer service requirements.
• Excellent communication, strategic planning and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver the sales strategy to achieve revenue, volume, margin and market share targets.
• Manage sales budgets, forecasts, pricing strategies and customer profitability.
• Lead and develop the sales team, including Key Account Managers.
• Build strategic customer relationships and lead major negotiations, tenders and contract renewals.
• Drive new business development and growth across retail, foodservice, wholesale, B2B and export channels.
• Lead NPD initiatives and identify new product and category opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally to align customer demand with production capacity, service levels and profitability.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
