Job summary

Collins McNicholas Group in Ireland is seeking a Sales Director to lead the sales strategy across food manufacturing sectors, based in County Monaghan. This senior role drives growth across retail, foodservice, wholesale, B2B and export markets, with capital investment planned for early 2027.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will guide KAM and NPD, work with operations, supply chain and finance to deliver sustainable performance, and manage major negotiations and contracts.

Qualifications

• Senior sales leadership experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Proven track record of profitable growth and major account management.
• Strong pricing, forecasting and margin management skills.
• Experience building and leading sales teams to exceed targets.
• Knowledge of retail, foodservice, wholesale or export markets.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering the sales strategy to meet targets.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, pricing strategies and profitability.
• Lead and develop the sales team including KAMs.
• Build strategic customer relationships and lead negotiations and tenders.
• Drive new business across retail, foodservice, wholesale, B2B and export.
• Lead NPD initiatives and identify product opportunities.
• Align demand with production capacity and service levels.
