Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor Advisor for a 1-year rolling contract in West Dublin. The role involves delivering strategic QS guidance, managing capital programmes, and coordinating procurement for health service infrastructure projects.

Applicants should have QQI Level 8 QS or equivalent, membership or eligibility with SCSI/RICS, and at least 7 years of relevant experience. Hybrid working and a 35-hour week are typical benefits.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 8 Quantity Surveying accredited by SCSI or RICS
• Or qualification equivalent to the above
• Be registered as a Quantity Surveyor or be eligible for registration under the Building Control Act 2007
• Have full membership of a relevant professional association (SCSI or RICS)
• Have at least 7 years satisfactory and relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a contractor or private consultancy

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on the Built Environment and service planning issues
• Provide professional technical advice to the service
• Capit al programme and project management of the same
• Procurement of professional design services, construction works and equipment
• Support estates services with procurement, contractual and commercial advice in line with budgets and regulations
