Job summary

Sanderson is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join its procurement team on a permanent, hybrid basis. The role focuses on public sector procurement, ensuring compliance with Irish and EU regulations while delivering value across projects.

The successful candidate will lead tendering activities, negotiate contracts, and work with stakeholders to optimise quality, cost and risk management in a complex public environment.

Qualifications

• Public sector procurement experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and EU procurement legislation.
• Degree and public procurement qualification preferred.
• Experience leading complex tendering from start to contract award.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience developing procurement strategies and delivering value.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and tendering across supply, services and construction.
• Manage contract negotiations ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Irish and EU procurement laws and internal policies.
• Oversee end-to-end sourcing and tendering processes end-to-end.
• Develop tender specs and sourcing/negotiation strategies.
• Publish competitions on eTenders and manage the process.
• Support evaluations and moderation meetings; issue letters as needed.
• Foster supplier relationships and drive value for money.
