Job summary

CAI is a professional services company established in 1996 with ~800 employees worldwide, seeking a Proposal Manager to oversee development and submission of proposals across our field operations and business development teams.

This dynamic role requires strategic thinking, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail to meet deadlines under direction of the Director, Proposal Support. Strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and CRM experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in English, business, engineering, marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and producing proposals in pharma/mission-critical industries.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage flexible schedules and shifting priorities while maintaining detail and quality.
• Ability to understand and organize large volumes of information.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; CRM experience.
• Ability to work within Adobe and Microsoft templates to maintain corporate standards.
• Team player who can assist the team across tasks.
• Initiates and maintains communications with supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leaders, business development and operations to achieve proposal goals.
• Collect and manage development of proposal responses with regional teams.
• Review and measure quality of proposals written by others.
• Assist with continuous process improvements, including after-action-review meetings.
• Lead responses for RFPs, RFIs, cost opinions, and statements of qualification.
• Lead the overall proposal development from creation to bid submission.
• Collect, analyse, and communicate metrics and KPIs for proposals.
• Potentially lead part of the Proposal team.
