Job summary

Keelings is seeking a Production Planner to plan and monitor labour and resource requirements within a 24/7 production environment. You will work with the Operations Team to ensure the right resources and skills are available to meet production needs, minimise time and costs, and maximise efficiency.

You will analyse production requirements, forecast volumes, and schedule labour deployment, while maintaining data accuracy and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, production planning and resource planning principles.
• Advanced MS Excel skills with data analysis capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyse production requirements and prepare mid- to long-term labour and resource plans based on forecast production volumes, capacity and required skill sets.
• Schedule and monitor labour deployment against production plans, identifying resource constraints and corrective actions.
• Analyse labour availability, hours, skill mix and absence trends to support planning decisions.
• Coordinate with Operations and stakeholders to align resources with forecast production requirements.
• Prepare operational reports and performance metrics, analysing variances, risks and trends.
• Maintain accurate planning data and controls to support reporting and continuous improvement.
• Support process improvement, testing and troubleshooting of planning systems.
