Job summary

Keelings is seeking an Assistant Labour Planning Manager to support the Central Planning Manager in forecasting, planning and deploying labour in a 24/7 production environment. You will help ensure the right number of skilled staff are available across shifts while controlling costs and overtime, working with Operations, HR, Recruitment and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in labour, workforce or resource planning in fast-paced production environments.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills with data reporting and KPI analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and allocation of labour across all operational areas to meet daily and weekly production requirements.
• Lead and deputise for the Labour Planning Manager, ensuring accurate planning activities and continuity of the function.
• Monitor labour costs, overtime, absence and agency usage and review payroll/time attendance for accuracy.
• Manage relationships with labour agencies and ensure performance and supply are effectively managed.
• Ensure compliance with Working Time Directive and perform regular audits of time and attendance processes.
• Prepare regular KPI reports and labour analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with HR, Recruitment and Training to identify labour requirements and training priorities.
• Assist with workforce planning initiatives and annual leave management.
