Job summary

Dexcom Ireland in Athenry is seeking a Planning Manager to lead the Planning team, align demand with capacity, and govern the Master Production Schedule. You will partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and Finance to drive supply alignment and product availability across the site.

The role demands a strong background in ERP/MRP, S&OP and IBP processes, with a track record of improving planning maturity and reducing risks to customer service.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business or related discipline with 8-12 years of industry experience.
• 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience.
• Experience managing planning functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools.
• Strong understanding of Master Production Scheduling, Capacity Planning, S&OP, Inventory Management and Demand & Supply Planning.
• Advanced analytical and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Athenry Planning team to support current operations and future site growth.
• Own and govern the site Master Production Schedule (MPS) process.
• Ensure alignment between forecasted demand, supply capability, manufacturing capacity and inventory strategies.
• Lead development, consolidation, communication and execution of production and supply plans.
• Serve as the primary planning representative for site S&OP, S&OE and Integrated Business Planning activities.
• Establish and maintain finite and rough-cut capacity planning processes to support operational decision making.
• Drive planning process maturity and ensure adherence to planning standards and governance requirements.
• Manage planning risks, identify constraints and develop mitigation plans to protect customer service and production commitments.
