Job summary

Fingal County Council in Ireland is seeking a Senior Executive Planner within the Planning and Development Department. The role involves managing elements of the department and delivering a range of services to Local Authorities, with emphasis on policy delivery across Development Management, Forward Planning and Project Delivery.

You will collaborate with the Senior Management Team and Elected Members to implement local policy decisions and contribute to climate action and sustainable transport

Responsibilities

• To prepare and implement development plan documents for consideration by relevant Council Committees.
• To consider national planning policy and development plans prepared by adjoining authorities and respond as required.
• Interacting with Planning Authorities in matters related to development plan preparation and variations.
