Job summary

Kilkenny County Council seeks a Senior Executive Planner to lead and manage elements of the Planning Department, reporting to the Senior Planner. The role offers exposure to Development Management, Forward Planning and Project Delivery within a dynamic local authority.

You will work with the Senior Management Team and Elected Members to implement policy, deliver services and help advance Climate Action and Sustainable Transport across the County.

Qualifications

• Suitably qualified candidates with relevant experience.
• Senior position within the Planning Department reporting to the Senior Planner.
• Engage with the delivery of strategic policy across Development Management, Forward Planning and Project Delivery.
• Contribute to Climate Action and Sustainable Transport in the County.
• Work with the Senior Management Team and Elected Members to deliver services and policy decisions.
