• Experience analysing national/regulatory policies and guidelines for planning.
• Experience preparing or assessing planning applications and pre-application proposals.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams to maximise efficiency and value.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement development plan documents and reports for Council committees.
• Assess planning applications and pre-application proposals against Council policies.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams, set milestones, and monitor progress.
• Engage with external agencies and stakeholders on regional planning matters.
• Ensure governance and compliance with Health and Safety and corporate policies.
