Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, with focus on Marketing categories.
• Strong knowledge of advertising, digital marketing, media buying, market research, and agency sourcing.
• Experience managing commercial negotiations, supplier relationships, and complex contracts.
• Background working with marketing agencies, advertising agencies, research firms, or large digital media platforms.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience developing business cases and commercial recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial negotiations and establish strong relationships with marketing agencies, digital media vendors, and strategic suppliers.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that optimise costs, improve commercial outcomes, and support business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, improve, and optimise existing contracts and commercial frameworks.
• Analyse supplier pricing and commercial models, building business cases and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve commercial issues through close collaboration with business, technical, finance, legal, and procurement teams.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives, gathering business requirements and translating them into sourcing and contract documentation, including RFPs, SOWs, and related agreements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance on sourcing strategy and procurement best practices.
• Support contract lifecycle management, including renewals, amendments, termination activities, and supplier performance reviews.
• Prepare commercial approvals, deal summaries, and compliance documentation to support contract execution.
• Contribute to executive-level operational reviews and sourcing updates.
• Represent the organisation at relevant industry events and supplier meetings as required.
• Support additional procurement and sourcing initiatives across the wider function.
