Job summary

Flagship Management LLC is seeking an experienced Marine Operations Manager to lead safe, efficient and compliant delivery of marine operations in Ireland. This senior role oversees vessel operations, crews, logistics and regulatory compliance, while delivering high standards of service and performance.

You will manage budgets, coordinate port activities, investigations into incidents, and work with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Significant shore-based experience in marine operations and vessel operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Solid knowledge of marine safety, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating crews, ports, contractors and authorities.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and costs.
• Willingness to travel, including international travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day marine and vessel operations.
• Coordinate crews, port activities, logistics, maintenance and resources.
• Ensure compliance with Irish, UK, EU and international maritime regulations.
• Maintain high standards across health, safety, environment and quality.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, procurement and cost control.
• Provide operational reporting to senior management and contribute to strategic planning.
