Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a senior leader to design, implement, and manage a robust Project Governance Program across the Quality organisation. You will oversee governance framework establishment, PMO operations, and risk-informed decision support to drive project delivery and operational excellence.

You will champion digital project management, enable AI-enabled dashboards, and lead capability building and change adoption across major programs.

Qualifications

Degree in science, engineering, business, information systems, or related field.
7–10 years of project and programme management in GMP pharma/biopharma with supervisory experience.
Proven track record designing and deploying governance frameworks and PMO operating models.

Responsibilities

Establish a standardised project governance framework with clear decision rights and gates.
Provide end-to-end PMO oversight from initiation to closure across major projects.
Deliver risk intelligence and KPI dashboards to steer decisions.
Champion digital project management tools to automate reporting and improve portfolio visibility.
Lead capability building, training, and change adoption across teams.
Define governance KPIs and translate lessons into improvements.
Represent QS&D in steering committees and cross-functional governance meetings.
