Job summary

BNY Pershing in Ireland is seeking an experienced Head of Client Asset Oversight (PCF-45) to provide independent oversight of the client asset framework and ensure regulatory compliance. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for governance, control, monitoring and the client asset framework supporting safeguarding of client assets.

You will act as a key subject matter expert and partner to senior stakeholders across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal and the business, helping to

Qualifications

• Significant experience in client asset oversight within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Client Asset Requirements and Irish regulatory expectations.
• Experience in a senior oversight or control role within a regulated entity.
• Ability to engage credibly with regulators, senior executives and control functions.
• Experience updating governance/control documents (e.g., CAMP).

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm’s client asset oversight framework in line with Central Bank of Ireland requirements.
• Maintain and enhance governance and control environment for safeguarding client assets.
• Act as the designated PCF-45 role holder, subject to regulatory approval and fitness and probity.
• Oversee key client asset controls and issue escalation processes.
• Develop and maintain client asset documentation and governance frameworks.
• Provide oversight of breaches, root cause analysis and remediation plans.
• Deliver high‑quality reporting to senior management, governance forums and boards.
• Support regulatory interactions, audits, and client asset examinations.
• Embed a culture of accountability, challenge and continuous improvement.
