Job summary

Permanent TSB, based in Dublin, seeks a Sourcing Specialist to lead negotiations with IT and Digital vendors and drive savings within the Sourcing & Procurement function. The role focuses on procure-to-pay improvements, supplier relationship management, and 3rd party risk mitigation.

You will work in a hybrid Dublin-based team, collaborating with business partners across Software, Hardware, CyberSecurity and IT Professional Services to shape strategic sourcing initiatives and budget planning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in IT Asset Management or Strategic Sourcing (ideally in IT & Technology categories).
• Experience in vendor selection & onboarding processes, in particular RFP, tendering and contracting.
• Ability to design and govern supplier scoring and adjudication frameworks for transparent sourcing decisions.
• Management of supplier evaluation and vendor programs.
• Stakeholder management experience internal and external to the organisation.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• PMP, Prince2 or Lean Six Sigma experience.
• Strong knowledge of vendor risk assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute a portfolio of sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations in line with target savings and time plans.
• Negotiating with market-leading and niche technology vendors to leverage long term commercial advantages and cost savings.
• Supporting the Digital & IT Strategic Sourcing manager in strategy development & budget planning with business partners across Software, Hardware, CyberSecurity and IT Professional Services subcategories.
• Provide data analysis, insight and recommendations to enable business partners and colleagues to make informed decisions on third party spend and contracting.
• Lead regular stakeholders meetings to align and update on progress.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external partners.
• Use relevant and available tools and other resources to ensure effective and efficient working practices.
• Adhere to bank’s strategic process framework Group Frameworks, Policies, Processes and standards.
