Job summary

Carbery is seeking an Inventory Analyst to optimize stock levels and ensure accurate records across stores and procurement. The role reports to the Engineering Stores Manager and collaborates with procurement, warehousing and production teams to meet demand and minimize costs.

You will analyze data, forecast needs, manage POs, monitor supplier performance and support Pemac-based stock control. A strong eye for detail and process improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Inventory or Supply Chain Management.
• 2–4 years in purchasing, inventory analysis, or supply chain roles.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Favourable knowledge of electrical or mechanical spare parts.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand and determine optimal inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
• Track purchase orders and delivery schedules to meet requirements.
• Evaluate supplier performance, lead times and pricing.
• Collaborate with procurement for cost-effective purchasing.
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues and shortages.
• Generate reports on inventory metrics and cost analysis.
• Support Pemac stock optimization and cycle-counting processes.
