Carbery is seeking an Inventory Analyst to optimize stock levels and ensure accurate records across stores and procurement. The role reports to the Engineering Stores Manager and collaborates with procurement, warehousing and production teams to meet demand and minimize costs.
You will analyze data, forecast needs, manage POs, monitor supplier performance and support Pemac-based stock control. A strong eye for detail and process improvement is essential.

Role is office based, reporting to Engineering Stores Manager. Analyze historical data and trends to forecast demand and determine optimal inventory levels. Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies between systems and physical counts. Track, monitor, and manage purchase orders and delivery schedules to meet production and customer requirements. Evaluate supplier performance, lead times, and pricing to support sourcing decisions. Collaborate with procurement to ensure cost-effective purchasing strategies and timely material replenishment. Identify and resolve supply chain issues, shortages, and overstock situations. Generate and present regular reports on inventory metrics, turnover rates, and cost analysis. Strong experience in Inventory Management system (SAP, Oracle, Pemac, etc.). Assist in developing and implementing inventory control policies and best practices. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize inventory storage and movement. Manage the supplier open PO lines process through the RPA (automation). Support invoice and receiving issue resolution. Help with stock issues for craftsmen when needed. Work with Stores Manager and the Stores & Engineering teams to: o Optimise re-ordering stock parts through Pemac using usage, lead times, Min Qty, Re-order Level & Re-order quantity. o optimise cycle-counting process for parts ordered through o document outside and on-site warehouse stock and move to Pemac as necessary o identify further low-value/fast-moving stock items to move Free Issue. o develop and implement Best Practice for Purchasing of our highest volume/value item. o analyse current Pemac stock parts listing based on usage to identify possible obsolete items for review by Engineering team.
