Job summary

I.T. Alliance Resourcing Services, Dublin, is seeking a senior Information Security leader to own Information Security, Cyber Security and IT Risk for its Irish operations. The role reports to the Head of IT and shapes the security strategy, governance and controls across the organisation.

The successful candidate will drive regulatory alignment, cyber resilience and risk reporting, with opportunities to progress into a CISO-level role within a global, highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Senior information security leadership experience in large organisations.
• Proven ability to set strategy, governance and risk management.
• Experience implementing ISO 27001 ISMS.
• Strong reporting to executives and risk committees.
• Knowledge of third-party and supplier security risk.
• Experience with regulated sectors such as insurance or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead Information Security, Cyber Security and IT Risk strategy.
• Establish a governance framework aligned with regulatory obligations.
• Develop and maintain Information Security policies, standards and guidelines.
• Own and enhance the Information Security Management System (ISMS) with ISO 27001 alignment.
• Lead security risk management activities including identification, assessment and monitoring.
• Provide strategic guidance on cyber security, technology risk and operational resilience.
• Manage security governance forums and senior management reporting.
• Ensure alignment with global security standards while addressing local requirements.
• Oversee third-party and supplier security risk management activities.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews and security assurance activities.
• Develop and maintain security metrics, KPIs and risk reporting.
• Drive security awareness and training programmes.
