Job summary

AstraZeneca, in partnership with Alexion, is seeking a senior HR Generalist partner to coach leaders, shape workforce planning and drive process improvement across a global function. You will translate strategy into capability, embedding AI-enabled HR practices and data-driven decision making.

You will collaborate with HRBPs, HR Services and CoEs to deliver a seamless One HR experience, manage ER cases, and lead initiatives that boost engagement, inclusion and leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Generalist HR partnership: provide policy interpretation, coaching and advice to managers on performance, attendance, reward and talent matters.
• People cycles execution: deliver performance, reward and talent forums with accuracy for annual and mid-year cycles.
• Operational HR navigation: resolve manager queries and apply HR frameworks to reduce risk.
• Employee relations case management: manage ER cases and coach managers.
• Talent and reward delivery: manage talent appointments and insights for reviews and planning.
• Strategic workforce planning: prepare data and actions with HRBPs to align capacity with demand.
• People insights and reporting: provide data and commentary to inform decisions.
• Process simplification and digital optimisation: streamline workflows and adopt AI-enabled processes.
• Enterprise offerings adoption: contextualise L&D, Inclusion & Diversity and Wellbeing offerings for the business area.
• Learning, inclusion and leadership development: translate enterprise programs into functional plans and coach leaders.
• Team effectiveness facilitation: lead culture discussions and engagement sessions.
• One HR collaboration: collaborate with HRBPs, HR Services and CoEs for a connected experience.
• Stakeholder relationship building: build deep business understanding and trusted HR partnerships.
